How to create a form from Notion and add it to your website?

In this blog post you will learn how to create a form from Notion and add it to your website using Makeform, before we start you need to create a Makeform account which is quite simple. After creating an account or logging in, you will see the dashboard. On the dashboard, let's follow the steps below:

  • Click on Create from Notion button
  • Log in using your Notion account and select the pages you want to grant Makeform access to. If you've already signed in to Notion, you can just skip this step
  • Now, you can see a form with two options, Workspaces and Database. Select the workspace you want to use and then the database where you want to save form submissions
  • Click on Import and edit form
  • After creating the form, you will be redirected to the form editor so you can update the field name, type and order. You can also customize your form message
  • When you are done, click on Save form
  • Click on the Sharing tab
  • You can share your form in two ways, embedding the code on your website or just sharing the form URL with your audience. If you choose the way of embedding, click on Copy code and paste it into your HTML code

As you can see, creating forms from Notion is pretty straightforward when using Makeform, but if you are having trouble, email me at bruno@makeform.app and I will be happy to help.
